Converting a van - stop motion

This beautiful campervan will serve you well for travelling, living in or weekend trips.

Here are some of the cosmetic touches that make it so cool:

• Kitchen area with gas oven, two hobs, grill, draining board and sink with water foot pump.
• Big sofa that folds out into a double bed.
• Detachable table with bamboo leg.
• Heaps of above and below storage for all your clothes, food and other stuff.
• Oak floorboards.
• Swivel passenger seat.
• Awning made from embroidered Spanish sheet.
• Five windows in the back so it’s always light. Except at night.
• Interior lights with two brightness settings.
• Spotlights above the hobs and sink.
• Rear surfboard rack (made from a snowboard). With lockable straps.
• Carpeted walls and ceiling.
• All walls insulated with fibreglass and plywood.
• Front and rear speakers.
• Skylight.
• Sliding window in the back for a cool breeze on a hot day.
• Curtains for full privacy.
• Mural of a Moroccan desert above the sliding door.
• Captain’s driver’s seat for ultimate road trip comfort.
• BBQ and wooden wetsuit box. Just because.
• Pots and pans, kettle, crockery and utensils.

All of the above are in perfect working order.

And the less exciting but very important mechanical bits:

• MOT until 23rd May 2015.
• Waxoyl and underseal applied to chassis on last MOT, will add years to the life of the van.
• 138,915 miles on the clock. Transit engines typically go to 250-300,000 miles.
• Brand spanking new clutch.
• Partial service history.
• Inspected by and registered with DVLA as a motor caravan. Which means cheaper insurance yay!
• Leisure battery (80 a/h) with split relay.
• External electrical hook up with consumer unit, battery charger and cable.

• 1999 model (S reg)
• Short wheel base (fits in normal parking spaces).
• Hi-top (tall people can stand up inside).
• Two keys.
• Jack.
• Tyre wrench.
• Tow rope.
• Emergency triangle and day-glo jackets.
• Spare bulbs.
• Other useful stuff in the boot.

I converted this van in 2010 and have taken very good care of it.
