Ahhh bonjour mi petit saucissons! I don't know about you but I thought the Quicksilver Pro, held in Francais, put on a ruddy good show for 2013! Much like the weather, the waves were pretty hot and cold (numerous laydays were called due to lack of swell). That sure didn't stop the talented guys on tour, though, especially that of Mick Fanning, The 32 year old Aussie powerhouse who, after a non-stop final with Gabriel Medina, took the title!    The final was held at La Penon in Seignosse, the back-up spot, and it saw the two lads battling it out...

We all wish there were surfable waves on offer every day. I suppose there would be if you got yourself one of those surf pools like they’ve got in Siam Park, Tenerife, Wadi Adventure Wave Pool, UAE and Wavegarden (The Wave), UK, and they're slowly popping up in other places all over the world, too. You should Google them if you haven’t seen them yet, they’re a huge development in artificial surfing.
